Energy issues

All dogs have certain levels of energy. They differ on many things, but mostly how the dog is treated.
Newly adopted dogs and newborn puppies have 50 energy. Usually they have eveything 50 except excersize.
Best bet in this case is to do nothing at all for a day. Because everything you do will lower the energy of a dog and
it is very hard to get it back up once it goes below 50. You can compare that to a real life and bringing
a new dog to your home. He would be stressed and would need some time to get used to new place.

Things that will lower your dogs energy levels for sure is: overfeeding, overwatering, overplaying, over training and
overgrooming. Taking a dog to groomers will not lower its energy, but using your own grooming items will do so.
This can be very frustrating because if he has no energy he cannot show and cannot be bred.

So what can one do if the energy goes down? Since each such case is different, best bet is to do nothing for
a day. Or even two. I'd personally wait for energy to reach 50 before doing anything that I will say to do.
So you have waited a day and energy is over 50, but not over 100. There are certain items that raise energy better
than others. Those include vitamins and expensive food items (costing 25$ each). But be careful. You need to
be very careful because you can lower the energy even more. I'd look at the dog and see if he has either
So if his health is in negatives and his excersize is also in negatives, I'd play once with a toy which would
bring his health up to 100, and then check his food and water. If they are really low like 30, tehn I'd give
one vitamin and one water and that should do teh trick.

If he has all of those over 50 but not energy I'd leave him to rest one more day.

In any other case I'd also leave him to rest for one more day. It can never hurt him.
